The Power of MANIFESTING:
Today I am talking to you about The Power of MANIFESTING, and within this
I am going to be communicating how magical we all really are. That we are
absolutely able to manifest what we desire for ourselves - and the key to that
is by incorporating a few must-have ingredients. At the same time I will be
reminding you that whilst we absolutely can manifest what we want for ourselves,
equally we can create the exact situation we don't want to have happen.
So what am I talking about? Well in past issues I have spoken to you about the
Power of Your Intentions and also the Power of Your Beliefs. By
combining these two important power tools you are able to manifest
what you want for yourself. With the important secret ingredient being that you
also have to feel the feeling of what you want.
What I have experienced personally and others around me also attest to, is that
you can say positive affirmations until the cows come home. You can put up
these wonderful placards around your offices and personal spaces and cover your
screen saver with the affirmation of your choice. However all of this will mean
nothing if you do not truly, deep down believe that what you want to
happen will. And hand in hand with that, it will mean nothing if you do not
feel yourself in the situation you aspire to.
Our feelings, whether we like it or not - and I say this myself whilst often
being much more comfortable hanging out in my head - dictate the results we
encounter. We can do all sorts of wonderful mental gymnastics, rationalising,
logic probing and so forth. However if at the same time we are feeling a
particular way that is not in alignment with our thoughts - the feelings will
dominate. And if these feelings don't get their voice in that moment - believe
me........they know about the flesh on our rear ends and often come out and bite
us on it.
So the key to manifesting is to have your feelings in alignment with what
your intention is. To truly believe, embody and feel that what you want to
happen, will. You need to know what it is that you want, declare that that is
your intention, keep it in your minds eye, believe it and then feel as if you
have it now already.
The latter can often be the stumbling block for people - it becomes 'too hard'
or 'impractical' to feel something that is not your current reality. However if
we can not imagine and feel what it is that we want in our life - which means
'know it' intimately for ourselves, that it is possible for us to attain this -
how can we expect to then attract it?
A classic example of this is when people win a lottery - when interviewed
afterwards we often hear stories of either the person having frittered away the
money or being miserable with it. And why? Because whilst they desired to win
lotto, and imagined what they would spend the money on, they had never gone into
what it would feel like to be financially abundant (feelings of security versus
anxiety ) - so were unable to embody the physical reality of it as they still
carried the feelings of their past reality.
How would it feel for you to win lotto?
Another great test for yourself on whether your feelings are in alignment with
your desires is when you see something or some-one else with what you want. What
is your feeling when you sight that?
When you see someone driving the car you want - do you look at it and go 'there
is the car I want but don't have'? Or you see a couple in a loving embrace and
you look at them and say to yourself 'Oh I don't have anyone to do that with'?
Or your friend or a colleague gets the recognition and promotion that you hope
to receive for yourself. Do you look at them and go 'they are so lucky, here I
am still my same position, when will it be my turn?' ?
All of these statements, or your own along similar lines - are focusing on your
current situation and coming in from the 'lack' perspective. Focusing on what
you do not have. Yes you can argue that is your reality - it is. However
reality does not have to be constant - and if you want your reality to change,
you need to change your own thoughts and feelings around it. How can you expect
flow to occur if you are stuck in the current situation - you manifest more of
the same of what you are focused on.
Why should you be bestowed with what you want when you don't truly feel as if
you can have it in the first place? One of the universal laws is that like
attracts like. I have said this many times. So if you are focusing on your
current reality - that you don't have any money, that you do not have the job
you want, that you are not in a relationship - that is exactly what you will
continue to experience. You are focusing on the lack in your life. Your
feelings are aligned with your lack, not with what you want.
We have choice with everything we encounter in our lives. We can choose how we
feel, what actions we take, how we respond to situations. We can choose to
either focus on what is not right about our current reality. Or we can choose
to acknowledge that this has been our situation which will now change because we
are focusing on what it is that we want for ourselves - feeling the feelings of
it being ours right now. That shift in focus, causes a shift in energy which in
turn changes our end result.
With focus being both our thoughts AND our feelings, with the two being
in alignment with one another. As the saying goes - wherever I choose to focus
my attention, that will grow!
Think of those times where you have manifested exactly what you did not want!
Where afterwards you say 'see I knew that would happen!', or you say ' I
didn't think it would turn out like that'. With both of those seemingly
opposite statements sharing a similar feeling: that whilst you wanted it to be
otherwise you felt it wasn't going to go the way you desired, or you were
fearing (a feeling) upfront that it was not going to happen. Your
feelings were focused on lack, of not having what you wanted.
Does it not make sense to reverse this and instead have your feelings support
and be congruent with what you so very much do hope for?
What I therefore encourage you to do is create a list of what it is that you
want for yourself in your life. Split it into these areas: career, financial
situation, home environment, relationships, material goodies, self care actions.
Then review them, and gauge what reaction you have to each of these currently -
check whether your feelings are in alignment with your desire - do you truly
believe you can have it? Can you feel it as if it is yours now?
If the answer to the last question is no - that is OK. I then encourage you to
change your focus to feeling it as if it is yours now. Ask yourself 'what would
I feel when I have .......?' and feel that feeling NOW. So when you see the
car you want drive by - say to yourself, believing it - 'ah there goes a car
like the one I am going to have, though...... you know..... I prefer it in a
blue colour...', or when you see a couple cuddling say to yourself ' gosh, love
really is everywhere, and for everyone, I too will have that for myself'. When
your friend gets a dream job say to yourself 'that is so good, see all of our
dreams do come true'. Feeling the good feelings that come from these
positive statements.
Focus on abundance, on you having what you want - feeling that you have it.
Monitor and desist from focusing on lack. Hunt out examples of what it is that
you want for yourself. Surround yourself with people who reflect what that is.
Take actions and make choices that support what it is that you want. And feel
that it is all yours to have - that it can and is happening for you too.
Remembering - like attracts like.
The Power of
MANIFESTATION
is to think and feel what it is that you want. See it for yourself now - feel
it for yourself now. So you too will have it for yourself!
And to begin.......have some fun playing with manifesting those non stop
'killer' car parking spaces to test the theory out - it works a dream, believe
me! |
